Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Recruitment 2011-2012
Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has announced that it will recruit Group D employees on a regular basis. The MCD recruitment Delhi is taking place after 14 years.
Before MCD 2011 recruitment Municipal Corporation of Delhi has constituted a board and framed guidelines.
Total Vacancies MCD 2011
To start with MCD will recruit people in 37 different categories of Group D posts that exist in various departments of MCD;

The MCD Recruitment board is headed by Additional Commissioner (Establishment). The Chief Labour Welfare Officer is one of the members of the board. The other members of MCD Recruitment board are HODs of the concerned department who will be co-opted members.
Procedure MCD Recruitment 2011
The department where the vacancy exists will send a proposal for recruitment as per the need to the board. Eligible candidates will be called from the Employment Exchange. The number of candidates should not exceed five times the number of vacancies.
The MCD board will also decide the modalities for the recruitment and appointments and also the eligibility criteria.
According to the MCD official "The board will recommend a panel of candidates in order of merit, which will be 110 per cent of the vacancies assessed by the departments for the recruitment year. The offer of engagement against the available vacancies and remaining candidates will be kept in the waiting list," said the official.
